If enough members of the community want the Linux version of CBH and are willing to back this threshold - we'll just make the Linux version. So here's the trick: after we'll reach a playable Beta stage of the game - we'll make a Kickstarter campaign, with special Campaign threshold for Linux users. I'm not saying no, just we need 2 see if enough ppl would support us if we'll make a Linux Version. Assemble your army, build overwhelming cities, raise and upgrade your heroes, gather powerful artifacts, and prove that YOUR Countryball is the one to rule them all. Making a Linux implementation & do tests for Linux version would cost us hell amount of dev time of which we would prefer 2 spend on doing CBH as best as we can. CountryBalls Heroes is a crazy, turn-based strategy game full of memes and real-world references. I won't be mad if you don't, but it always feels nice and is very appreciated when a game developer doesn't forget about us :) I see the Game now (according to Steam) apparently will be able to run on Apple Mac and not just on Windows.ĭid you consider making a native Linux version as well for us Linux gamers? I've searched the forum and didn't see it getting asked yet, so I thought I'll do that now:
